Our NARFE organization is composed of working and retired civil service personnel of the federal government of the United States. Our local chapter is one of 1440 chapters though out the United States, and we are one of 24 through out the state of the Arizona Federation.


We meet the third Wednesday of each month at the Elks Lodge for Lunch except for June, July, and August.


In 1986, we held the 30th Arizona Federation State Convention in Lake Havasu city.


We print a monthly newsletter giving us ten issues per year since September of 1990. (only one for Jun, Jul, & Aug.)


We have collect Pop-Tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in Phoenix since 1993 (approximately 700 pounds a year or 700.000 tabs) though 2010.


We have given High School Scholarships to our local school since 1994 of values from $250 to $500 per year.


In 1995, we printed a 20 year Annual for our Chapter Anniversary.


In 1998, we worked with Chapters 1467 & 1707 to hold the 42th Arizona Federation State Convention.


In 1999, we made available a Chapter Life time membership providing you are a Life member of NARFE (National).


In 2000, we Produced the first email newsletter a as PDF file, and started our first Web Page!


In 2000/2001, we had three members that were AZ Federation officers. Vice President, Secretary, and DVP-III.


In 2002, Havasu is one of three chapters that hosted the 46th AZ NARFE Federation Convention at the Riverside in Laughlin, NV.


In 2008, Our newsletter is now bi-monthly (six issues a year)


In 2009, Havasu is one of three chapters that hosted the 53rd AZ NARFE Federation Convention at the River Palms in Laughlin, NV.
