We had something like 5 or 6 vehicles. Shirley and John set up the Cruise and were our Yacht Club Cruise Directors and at our first stop for the evening Shirley made us all signs for our auto's "NORTH TO ALASKA" you cannot believe the attention we got from that. Cars were honking their horns and people waving to us all the way. Yes! and we were all singing "North to Alaska" all the way to Vancouver. It got everyone in to the mood and also all those we met during our trip. We all had two way radios so we could communicate the whole way. It just made it one great start. Our trip took us over the Old Oregon Trail which was really beautiful trip to the coast.

Alaska Cruise
The Club continues to take various group cruises, to Mexico, the Carribean clear to Venezuela, and Alaska. This was our first cruise to Alaska so for this cruise, a group of the members decided to motor up to Vancouver to pick up the ship, rather than flying. This was so they could experience some of the Northern USA sights that some of us had never seen. It was a real interesting trip, really a vacation on the way, then the cruise and then another vacation on the return trip home. I will try and hit the high lights as there is no way to cover all that we did or seen. Hopefully the photo gallery will help you appreciate some of the fun we had and some of the sights we took in.
